Content Management System (CMS) merupakan suatu aplikasi yang memberikan kemudahan di dalam proses distribusi informasi yang digunakan untuk menambah dan/atau mengelola isi website. Menambah dan mengelola isi website dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja yang diberi hak oleh Administrator.

CMS dapat digunakan oleh orang yang tidak cukup mengerti pemrograman teknis. Menambah, mengubah atau menghapus isi website secara langsung dapat dilakukan tanpa mengetik script pemrograman.
